There are a variety of analytics availability to you in Quercus that can provide information on student use and performance in your course.

The Course Analytics menu item provides access to information on page views for both the course and per student, as well as reports on assignments and course activity.

Assignments

For Assignments, if you require further information about a student's submission, you can use technology-based resources, such as

  • Quercus Course Data and Reports (e.g., the Access Report, Gradebook data);
  • For assignments which use the Turnitin framework, the Turnitin report can provide additional information on a student's assignment

Quizzes

There are several reports available on student's quiz submissions:

  • Quiz statistics provides an overview of the class' interaction with the quiz including the average score and average time it took students to complete the quiz
  • The Student Analysis Report provides a breakdown of the response of each student for every quiz question
  • The Item Analysis Report provides more advanced statistical information for each question in your quiz.

If you require further information about a student's quiz submission, you can use technology-based resources, such as Quercus Course Data and Reports (e.g., the Access Report, and Quiz Logs).

Quercus Data Insights

Course Instructors also have access to the UofT created The Quercus Data Insights dashboard which provides additional analytics.
